Biology Topic 4 - Lab Report

Please discuss for me the mistakes you made in your pea germination lab report. What do you need to different on the next lab report? Did you utilize the rubric and the guidelines handout will writing this report? Do you now have a better understanding of what needs to be done better the next time?

Biology Topic 3

Tomorrow, you will start working on projects involving the various biomes of the world. The question I pose to each of you before we start is, what is it about a biome that makes it unique? Why is a desert a desert? Why is a rainforest a rainforest? What is it about them that gives them the unique characteristics that make them what they are?

You have just started an experiment where peas were soaked in water for 48, 24, 12, 6, and 1 hour respectively. Which one do you think will result with the most germination? Which one do you think will germinate the fastest? (Doesn't necessarily have to be the same one). Why have you chosen the ones you have?
